Made Simply Perfect Services

Providing award winning wedding services, including Wedding Venue Stylist, Handmade Stationery and Wedding Flowers.  Also specialising in Luxury Gift Hampers, and Northumbrian Corporate Hampers.

How it all began

Based in the heart of Northumberland, the journey of Made Simply Perfect began with Susan Heslop. A mum of four who has a genuine passion and flare for handmade products.  With 20 years as an experienced florist and she began by offering bridal flowers.  This then evolved to include handmade stationary and from there, a broad range of venue styling.

With each Christmas, friends and family would ask her to help them create handmade gifts, and so she added luxury gift hampers to her list of many talents.  This grew from friends and family to requests from companies to help them with the Christmas corporate hampers. 

A family business 

What had long been a passion and a hobby then became official in 2016, when Susan launched Made Simply Perfect Ltd with her three daughters, Glynis, Susan and Carolyn.  Today we provide our customers with bespoke professional wedding services and a wide range of Northumbrian gift hampers. 

Since the launch in 2016 we have gone on to win four separate awards for our services and we are extremely proud of our 5 star reputation for high-quality products and excellent service.   We understand how important customer service is.  It’s not enough to just offer fantastic products.  We want to make sure the process of working with our team is easy, friendly and most of all reliable.

In the heart of Northumberland here at Made Simply Perfect, we specialise in full venue styling, bridal flowers and handmade stationery. We are a multi-award-winning family business and we take a huge amount of pride in what we do.  With a genuine passion for our business, we have worked hard to earn our 5-star reputation for innovative designs and amazing service.

Our Process 

Offering creative bespoke products which capture the taste and personality of our Customers.  We understand that our couples want a truly unique wedding day which reflects them as individuals and of course as a couple.  We take the time to understand our clients and help carry their ideas into the creative design of their products.  All of our bookings begin with a free no-obligation consultation meeting and we believe this is where our service holds its value.  We listen, we design, and we hand make our products to make sure they hold that unique quality which our customers love us for.  Don’t worry if you need inspiration, we have an extensive range of designs to help you decide.

We want your experience of working with us to be a pleasant, and enjoyable one.  So, we work hard to install confidence in our services.  Reducing the stress involved by providing reassurance and excellent communication. This allows our couples the confidence to relax and know that their day will be Simply Perfect.

Luxury Gift Hampers

When we launched our Luxury Gift Hampers, we knew we wanted to offer something which was inspired by the local Northumberland countryside.  This is where we are based and where we hand make all of our gift hampers.  So, we began researching the food & drink products that are produced locally in Northumberland and North Tyneside.  Some of these suppliers are like hidden gems, so it took us some time to develop the range we have today.  We are always looking for new products and suppliers and we never cease to be amazed by the amount of luxury artisan food & drink the North has to offer. 

Our sourcing policy

Simple really… We look first in Northumberland and North Tyneside for the highest quality artisan food & drink.  If we can’t find what we are looking for here, then we look at other parts of the North of England.  We want to ensure that we are featuring Northern companies as a priority within our gift hamper range.  This is what sets are luxury gift hampers apart from what’s available elsewhere.  It gives our customers the confidence that their gift will be “off the high street” & more personal. 

Personalised and beautifully presented

When we receive an order, our products are handpicked, and our gift hampers are handmade to make sure they are securely packed and beautifully presented.  You have the option to add a personal message to your gift.  Because we hand make our hampers to order, and we print our own stationary this allows us to personalise your Luxury Gift Hamper.  We also offer a full bespoke branding service for our business to business customers.
